Among the many advantages that set Coastal Law apart from our comparative schools is the curriculum, which allows our students to align career choices with specialized areas of expertise. Successful completion of a certificate program not only represents significant learning but can also exhibit to potential employers a student's dedication to the corresponding practice area. Coastal Law offers four certificate programs.

Civil Practice Advocacy
Criminal Practice Advocacy
Family Law Advocacy
Social Justice Advocacy

Students with at le
ast a 2.75 cumulative grade point average and who have completed the requirements within a certificate program can apply that certificate specialty toward graduation. A student may only complete one certificate. Students must declare their intent to complete a certificate during their second year.  Information about registering for a certificate specialization will be provided at each Academic Advising Registration Fair.
