If you are interested in hiring any of our students or graduates, we offer a variety of recruitment options which are all provided at no cost to your firm/organization.

We offer a Job Posting Service for your law clerk, lateral, or new attorney positions. Through our on-line Career Center, Symplicity, you may register as an employer and post job openings for your firm/organization as they become available. Alternatively, you may complete an on-line Job Posting Request Form. Once the posting has been approved, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
The most common method of recruitment is our On-Campus Interview (OCI) Program. You are welcome to interview on-campus year round. Using Symplicity, your firm/organization may pre-select candidates that you would like to interview on our campus. Symplicity will compile assorted application material (resumes, cover letters, writing samples and/or transcripts) in one convenient location with 24-hour access available to you or we can simply complete this process for you. To sign up for an OCI, complete an On-Campus Interview Request Form and fax, e-mail, or mail it to us and we will complete the OCI registration process for you.
Non-visiting Resume Collection
If you are not able to visit our campus but are interested in hiring our students and alumni, we can conduct a Resume Collection for you. We will compile resumes from interested students and send them to your firm/organization. We will be happy to assist with scheduling interviews for any applicants you may select. To sign up for a Resume Collection, complete a Resume Collect Request Form and fax, e-mail, or mail it to us and we will complete the Resume Collection registration process for you.
In addition to On-Campus Interviews, Informational Sessions can also be arranged. We will set up a time convenient for you to come and speak to our students about your firm/organization and the type of candidates you are seeking.
Florida Coastal School of Law is devoted to law student recruiting and interviewing. For those employers who have video-conferencing capabilities, we are happy to schedule video interviews with our students for you. If your firm/organization does not have access to video equipment, we can often arrange for your interviewers to use a public video-conferencing room.
Externships provide excellent opportunities for students to receive credit while working in organizations across the country. Under the supervision of an attorney, students work in approved public or government agencies, the judiciary, not-for-profit corporations or in-house legal departments. In addition to participating in a classroom component focusing on professionalism and the development of practice-ready skills, students in externships have the benefit of learning from seasoned practitioners in a real-world legal setting.
We are always interested in discussing new externship placements. If you would like to participate in our Externship Program, please contact the Externship Coordinator Kathleen Tuohy at (904) 256-1209 email@example.com.
