Employers are solely responsible for ensuring that all postings, hiring procedures, subsequent employment, internships, volunteer work, or other engagements of any nature comply with all applicable local, state and federal laws. Florida Coastal School of Law bears no responsibility for determining whether any such postings or engagements by Employers comply with any local, state, or federal laws. All employers who utilize our services must adhere to the following Non-Discrimination Policy.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Florida Coastal School of Law does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, age, or sexual orientation in its programs and activities.

Florida Coastal School of Law allows one exception to its non-discrimination policy for government agencies, such as the military, that are required by law to discriminate on the basis of age, height, weight and other factors.  Federal statutes (commonly known as the Solomon Amendment) provide that law schools that deny access to military recruiters may be subjected to the loss of certain federal funds, including some financial aid for law students.

Job Postings

We offer a Job Posting Service for your law clerk, lateral, or new attorney positions. Through our online Career Center, Symplicity, you may register as an employer and post job openings for your firm/organization as they become available.  Alternatively, you may complete an online Job Posting Request Form.  Once the posting has been approved, you will receive a confirmation email.

On-Campus Interviews

The most common method of recruitment is our On-Campus Interview (OCI) Program. You are welcome to interview on-campus year round. Using Symplicity, your firm/organization may pre-select candidates that you would like to interview on our campus. Symplicity will compile assorted application material (resumes, cover letters, writing samples and/or transcripts) in one convenient location with 24-hour access available to you or we can simply complete this process for you. To sign up for an OCI, complete an On-Campus Interview Request Form and email or mail it to us and we will complete the OCI registration process for you.

Non-Visiting Resume Collection

If you are not able to visit our campus but are interested in hiring our students and alumni, we can conduct a Resume Collection for you. We will compile resumes from interested students and send them to your firm/organization. We will be happy to assist with scheduling interviews for any applicants you may select. To sign up for a Resume Collection, complete a Resume Collect Request Form and email or mail it to us and we will complete the Resume Collection registration process for you.

Informational Sessions

In addition to On-Campus Interviews, Informational Sessions can also be arranged. We will set up a time convenient for you to come and speak to our students about your firm/organization and the type of candidates you are seeking.
