An article in the fall 2016 issue of preLaw magazine looks at the schools that have excelled in moot court competition since the tracking of these began seven years ago. Florida Coastal School of Law made the list, and has been named the third best moot court in the country this decade. The school’s moot court also ranked in the top 15 for the 2015-2016 school year.
 
According to Antony Kolenc, faculty adviser on moot court at Coastal Law, which has placed in the Top 16 for seven years running, including two consecutive first-place rankings, “We have always focused on being practice ready," he said of the law school's educational approach.
