Florida Coastal School of Law’s Moot Court team is ranked #7 in the nation according to the University of Houston Law Center’s most recent rankings. The University of Houston Law Center identifies the top schools using a scoring method that assesses the quality of the competition a school participated in, the size of the competition and the school's performance in those competitions.

This academic year, the Florida Coastal team won championships at the E. Earle Zehmer National Moot Court Worker’s Compensation (Orlando, FL), the National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare & Adoption Law (Columbus, OH), the Domenick L. Gabrielli Family Law Moot Court Competition (Albany, NY) and the Leroy R. Hassell, Sr. National Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition (Virginia Beach, VA).

"Congratulations to Professor Kolenc, the Moot Court team, and all of the coaches who supported the team this academic year. Winning four championships in a year is an enormous achievement! Our Moot Court team has demonstrated what extraordinary things Florida Coastal students can accomplish!" -- Dean Scott DeVito, Florida Coastal School of Law
