Professor Hammond joined Florida Coastal as an Adjunct and Visiting Assistant Professor in 2009, and joined the full-time faculty in 2011.  She served in multiple roles in the Florida Coastal Clinics from 2011-14, and became a Professor of Professional Skills in 2016.  She currently serves as the Internship/Externship Director.  Prior to joining Florida Coastal she was Managing Partner at Taylor Day & Rio for ten years, Partner at Johnston & Hammond for fifteen years, and in financial services at McGuireWoods.  Professor Hammond received the Barbara McCalla Memorial Award in 2016 and the Vision Award in 2013-15, both awarded by Florida Coastal School of Law.  She also received the Mayor's Hispanic Advisory Board Leadership in Business Award in 2013 and Judge Roberto Arias Award in 2012.
