Florida Coastal School of Law graduates have earned a 62.1% bar passage rate on the February 2018 Florida Bar Exam.  With this pass rate, Florida Coastal ranks 4th out of Florida’s 11 law schools and has surpassed the statewide average passage rate of 57.9%.

“In staying true to our mission pillar of being student-outcome centered, Florida Coastal is committed to achieving sustainable market leadership in bar examination performance.  The February bar results reflect the hard work of each of these students, the faculty and staff at the law school,” said Dean Scott DeVito.  Dean DeVito also extended a special thank you to Associate Dean, Jennifer Reiber, who was central to implementing Florida Coastal’s bar exam preparation program.  “Her work provided our graduates with the resources they needed to be successful on the Florida Bar exam,” said Dean DeVito.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Bryan Simpson US Federal Courthouse, in Ceremonial Courtroom 13A, and will start at 4PM, April 19th. “We’re thrilled to welcome the newest members of the Florida Bar this week,” said DeVito.
