Get your 3L research on – future lawyers need to know how

The 2012 Legal Technology Survey Report reported that Lawyers spend an average of 19% of their time on legal research.  Not surprisingly, a larger percentage of time is spent on research by solo and small firm practitioners.  The Librarians provide research workshops for second and third year students who are writing their advanced legal writing requirement.

The Librarians are ready to help students look for a topic that is  interesting and relevant. Once a topic is chosen, there are lots and lots  of resources in the Library and available through the Library databases  to help. Finally, Librarians love the Bluebook (well at least we  love to help with the Bluebook to cite to material appropriately) and are ready to help students with the tough  citation questions.
