The number one attribute that employers are looking for on law graduates’ resumes is Practical Legal Experience. Make sure you student doesn’t miss out on the opportunity to become a Certified Legal Intern and get that valuable hands-on experience.

Students cannot even be considered for a CLI without first obtaining clearance through the Florida Bar. Student should apply for clearance as early as possible and preferably during the first semester of law school. Even students do not plan to practice in Florida, it is still important for them become a CLI so that they can participate in externships, clinics and skills labs opportunities.
