The Florida Coastal School of Law Alumni Association is your organization, representing more than 5,000 graduates of Coastal Law. All students who graduate from Coastal Law are members of the Alumni Association. There are no dues or fees to join the Alumni Association.  From its beginnings, the law school has produced alumni whose contributions have enhanced the legal communities of not only Jacksonville but throughout the United States and across the world.

The mission of the Association is to enhance the future success of Florida Coastal School of Law by engaging, inspiring and increasing the visibility and participation of alumni.

What does the Alumni Association do? The Florida Coastal Alumni Association offers alumni the opportunity to network and socialize, assist with admissions, mentor and speak to students, and sponsor events. The Alumni Association is an unincorporated organization that is part of Coastal Law. It is governed by a set of Bylaws.

How does the Alumni Board of Directors function? The Alumni Board works closely with the Alumni Affairs staff to establish and achieve its goals. Much of the work of the Alumni Board takes place in standing and ad hoc committees. Currently, standing committees are – Executive, Membership, Admissions, Professionalism, and Student Services. The ad hoc committees are appointed by the Board President and provide a myriad of opportunities to volunteer.

How can I get involved? The Alumni Board of Directors seeks nominations for Board membership in the spring.  You may complete the nomination form online to be considered for the spring new member slate.  If you are interested in joining the board, please email for more information.
