Background
Teresa ("Terri") H. Davlantes, Vice Dean and Professor of Law, graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law and practiced with Rogers, Towers, Bailey, Jones & Gay in Jacksonville, Florida, in health law and real estate transactions. Prior to graduating from law school, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida and worked in coronary care nursing. Ms. Davlantes is a member of the Jacksonville Political Leadership Institute class of 2011; a member of the Leadership Jax class of 2012; and a board member of the Jacksonville Aviation Authority. She also serves as a member of the Youth Crisis Center, a provider of services for runaway, displaced and troubled youth and their families. Ms. Davlantes joined Florida Coastal School of Law in 2000 and prior to becoming Vice Dean, she served in a variety of positions, including Lawyering Process Instructor, Legal Writing Specialist, and Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs. As Vice Dean, she serves as a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and oversees Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and the Academic Success Department.

Since she joined Florida Coastal, she has served in a variety of positions, including Lawyering Process Instructor, Legal Writing Specialist, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, and now Vice Dean. She was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida.
