Florida Coastal School of Law (Coastal Law) has a unique skills based program that is student-centered. Its programs are designed to advance students’ success in law school, on the bar exam, and in their careers. The school’s curriculum focuses on experiential education: the hands-on learning needed to equip graduates with the leadership, management, and interpersonal skills that are necessary for career success.

Our Full-Time Day Program requires students to enroll in 13 or more credits per semester.  During our students first year they will be enrolled in roughly five classes per semester which will be preselected by the Registrar’s Office.  Classes will be held Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm.  Students may have a later evening class assigned to them as well.

Coastal Law runs on rolling admissions which allows students to enroll right up until our start dates.  This provides students with the opportunity to re-take the LSAT close to the start of each term if needed.

We accept through the June LSAT for our Fall class, through the December LSAT for our Spring class, and through the February LSAT for our Summer class.
Our Full Time JD Program start dates are Fall (mid-August), Spring (end of January), and Summer (mid-May).

Regardless of when you start at Coastal Law you will receive the same quality education and curriculum along with the opportunity to participate in:

Law Review, Mock Trial, Moot Court, Clerkships, Externships and Study Abroad.
