Faculty Highlights - November 2012

Professor Shannon was part of a group of law professors who recently filed a Supreme Court amicus curiae brief in Gunn v. Minton, No. 11-1118, a case involving the proper interpretation of a federal jurisdictional statute.

Professor Shannon also has been invited to attend the 2013 Law & Economics Center Workshop on the Economics of Litigation & Civil Procedure for Law Professors hosted by George Mason University School of Law in Captiva, Florida. Click through to read the full highlights.

Jacksonville Alumni Chapter hosts happy hour

Florida Coastal Jacksonville Alumni Chapter held a happy hour at The University Club of Jacksonville on Thursday, November 29th. This event was hosted by President of the Jacksonville Alumni Chapter and 2009 graduate Julie Frusciente as well as Jacksonville Alumni Chapter member and 1999 graduate Matt Shark.

Approximately 75 Jacksonville Alumni Chapter members assembled on the 27th floor of the Riverplace Tower to network and reconnect with their fellow alumni. To see photos from the evening click here.
