Florida Coastal Law Review has the privilege of having been selected to host the 2017 National Conference of Law Reviews. This Conference will be from March 23rd through the 26th at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Jacksonville. Students from across the country represent their law school’s law reviews and journals by attending the four-day event each year. The event is a combination of learning how to better their journal, their programs, networking, having fun, and building a brighter legacy for their respective journals.
This year Florida Coastal Law Review is expecting about 250 attendees. Additionally, the conference will have sponsor partners such as Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, Joe Christenson Publishing, Barbri, and others tabling each day and helping students connect with their resources. The day-to-day of the Conference consists of breakout sessions that students can choose to attend, with each session discussing a particular topic related to law review.
The Conference will also have several day trip options for the participants, with each destination visiting a special treasure on the First Coast. Florida Coastal Law Review is also expecting to have several guest speakers from the community, school, and within the judicial system for each session. Our goal for the Conference is to bring communities together and show others how great the Coastal Law community is and the Jacksonville community as well. This is an incredible opportunity for Florida Coastal Law Review to showcase its Journal, School, and Community.
