Books, topical loose-leaf services, federal and state court decisions, law reviews, legal and general periodicals, international materials, legal encyclopedias, historical works, finding aids, and reference materials are housed in a newly renovated facility conveniently located minutes from downtown on Baypine Road. Recognizing the need for access to a research-level law library in the dynamic Jacksonville metropolitan area, FCSL has established a program that allows members of the local community to use the Center’s materials and services. Public access to the FCSL Library and Technology Center is available through our Community Access Program (CAP). The first visit to the Library and Technology Center is free of charge. In order to use the Center more than once, a visitor must join the CAP program. CAP members receive an ID card that allows them access to the building whenever the Center is open and can function as a copy card for the Library copy machines. As a Community Access member, you have onsite access to the Library’s extensive collection, including books, periodicals, and microforms during regular library hours. You also have limited access to the computer network access and you are welcome to use the services offered at the Reference Desk. Document Delivery Service is also available. Documents may be faxed, e-mailed, or sent via regular mail. Document Delivery Cost is $15 for documents up to 10 pages, and $1 per page thereafter.
