  First Time Sign-up Instructions for Those without a Coastal Connect Account

1. Click here to go to the Coastal Law Alumni and Friends page and register an account. Click the "Register" link in the upper left side of the page, and create an account. Read the instructions and follow the prompts carefully.
2. Return to this page, and follow the directions below.

Sign-up Instructions for Those with Coastal Connect Accounts

1. Click the link below for the Date and Time you wish to attend.
2. IMPORTANT TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION: IF THE LINK TAKES YOU TO THE ALUMNI HOMEPAGE, YOU NEED TO LOG OUT OF COASTAL CONNECT. Click the "Log out" link on the left side of the page, below the “Make a Gift” button. Then return to this page, and click the link for the Date and Time you wish to attend.
3. Log in at the "User Login" link. You will be taken to the Sign-up page for the date and time you selected.
4. Is someone else's name on the Registration Page? Log out of Coastal Connect, close your browser, then log in again. DO NOT enter your name over someone else’s. You will mess up their account.
5. Click the "Registration" button.
6. Select "Yes" to register for the session, and then click "Save and Continue." If you need to cancel your registration, follow the same process, but select "No".

You will not be able to sign up for any training that already has reached the maximum number of registrations allowed. (Typically 50 for classroom sessions, and 16 for Training Lab sessions.) That training may open up again later if someone cancels. Please show courtesy for your colleagues: Sign up for only one session. If you need to change your registration, please cancel your previous registration. If you have any trouble cancelling your previous registration, please sign up for the session you need, then email kkronenberg@fcsl.edu or cmanning@fcsl.edu, requesting that we cancel your previous registration. Be sure to include the date and time of the registration you wish to cancel.

Please note that those sessions marked as "Training Lab" sessions are for the benefit of those students without a working laptop. The Training Lab can accommodate only 16 students. If you have a working laptop, please select one of the other sessions if you can.

Library Policies and training locations are on the sign-up pages - please read carefully.

Any students needing special consideration or students experiencing difficulties with the scheduled times should contact Karen Kronenberg or Colleen Manning immediately. No allowances will be made without prompt communication and reasonable excuse or scheduling conflict.
