Coastal Law Wireless Printing Test

Coastal Law is investigating if wireless printing can be maintained as a viable service on campus. Below are some programs that will automatically install the appropriate printer(s) on your system. These files are provided “as-is” with no warranty or guarantee that they will work on your computer.

Information Technology has not offered this service in some time due to incompatibilities and instability in previous Microsoft and Apple operating systems. Currently, we feel that both operating systems are stable/compatible enough to re-institute this service on a preliminary basis.

Please keep in mind that this service is still in the testing phase, and may be discontinued at any time in the future.

Please Note: The test is currently ONLY OPEN to computers running the latest Microsoft Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.6/10.7 operating systems. The Linux guide (below) comes without any official support whatsoever.  It is merely an overview guide intended to point you in the right direction.

Apple Users Please Note: If you have a new Mac, or one that has never been connected to an HP printer before, you may need to download the Apple/HP Driver Package from Apple's support site before running the program below.  If you are on campus, our Help Desk also has a copy of the driver for your convenience.
