Room 250. With the supervision of the Immigrant Rights Clinic Professor\, Ericka Curran\, the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA) will be hosting a naturalization outreach entitled the Vietnamese Refugee Initiative on March 30\, 2013 from 8AM-5PM.
We are in need of volunteers to help fill out N-400\, fee waivers\, disability waivers\, etc. During the event\, students will be providing legal assistance to approximately 14-20 clients. The clients are all Vietnamese individuals who do not understand English and are either disabled\, elderly\, or both. There will be translators\, and two student volunteers will be assigned to each translator.
Student volunteers will be filling out the forms to submit to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Students will receive legal pro-bono hours.
