Room 405. The Federalist Society is starting the semester off early with a great event featuring Brian Morris.  Mr. Morris is a polygraph examiner and a nationally certified instructor of polygraph. Following his presentation, Mr. Morris will be doing a polygraph demonstration.  I hope everyone will take the time to help the Federalist Society welcome Mr. Morris to Florida Coastal.  Jimmy Johns will be provided.

Each year FCSL sends a men's and a co-ed team to the UVA Law School Softball Tournament. 120 law schools from around the country compete annually. Proceeds from the tournament go to the Children, Youth and Family Services, Inc. of Charlottesville.

This year's tournament is being held April 5 through April 7.

Room 585. Join Animal Law Society on Thursday, January 31st at 12:00 for the first meeting of the semester and a remote presentation by Odette Wilkens. Odette is the Executive Director of the Equal Justice Alliance and will be speaking about the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act and its implications on freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. The Moot Court Honor Board will hold three mandatory informational sessions to describe in detail the Internal Competition. Each informational session will convey the same information; you only need to attend one.  Please arrive early, the informational sessions are likely to be crowded.  Also, do not leave merely because the session is crowded.  This is too important an opportunity for you to be so easily thwarted.

Atrium. The Reverse Shadow Program Committee is looking for volunteers to serve as mentors on our Reverse Shadow Day.  Volunteers will serve as mentors for the students and assist with the transition between activities planned for the students throughout the morning and early afternoon.

Room 425. Would you prefer to type your examinations rather than hand write them? With the use of ExamSoft you can do just that! The ExamSoft workshop is an opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the computer-based testing software offered here at Florida Coastal Law.

Academic Technology will be holding ExamSoft workshops February 11th through February 15th.  Space at the workshops is limited, please RSVP in advance by clicking on "Signup".

For Fall 2010, Spring 2011, Fall 2011, Spring 2012, Fall 2012, and Spring 2013 admits, and any previous AAMPLE students, in order to be eligible to use ExamSoft for your exams you MUST first attend an ExamSoft workshop. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. If you previously attended an ExamSoft workshop you are not required to attend again.

Attendance will be closely monitored at each workshop. Students are responsible for signing in on one of the attendance sheets prior to leaving the workshop.
