BACKGROUND
Professor Hazel was an associate and later a partner at the law firm of Mickenberg, Dunn, Lachs, Hazel & Smith, PLC. located in Burlington, Vermont. Her practice focused mainly on legal matters associated with real estate transactions involving both residential and commercial properties, including large scale condominium projects. She also served as the primary legal counsel for one of the most prominent affordable housing land trust groups, The Champlain Housing Trust, Inc.
