Multicultural Affairs

Multicultural Affairs, supervised by the Dean of Multicultural Affairs (Assistant Dean) addresses the needs, issues, and concerns of students in nationality, ethnic, language, gender, and sexual orientation groups in our community and serves as a resource and referral officer for all such matters. The functions include representation and presentation of these students' perspectives to the Coastal Law Community and providing independent resources and references to other departments when needed.

The office supports diversity programming to inculcate appreciation for multiculturalism and assists with general and smaller student meetings for these purposes. Similarly, the academic and personal growth and development of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and other underrepresented student groups are a concern of the Multicultural Affairs Office.
