Daylight Savings Time Changes: The U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005, passed by the U.S. Congress July, 2005, extended Daylight Saving Time (DST) in the U.S. by approximately four weeks. As a result, beginning in 2007, DST will start three weeks earlier on March 11, 2007, and end one week later on November 4, 2007, resulting in a new DST period that is four weeks longer than previously observed. Microsoft, in response to the change in law regarding DST, has released a DST calendar adjustment tool for their Microsoft Office product that will assist you in correcting appointments affected by the change. If you feel any of your appointments are incorrect during the new DST period, please download this tool and run it. Keep in mind that the tool will only correct appointments which you created, any appointments that you have accepted that were also created from other
users will need to be updated by that user. |
