What Career Services Can Do For You:

The Career Services Department (CSD) assists FCSL students and alumni in all stages of their career planning process. Our services include the following:

Individual Counseling:

We have two professionals who are happy to meet with students and alumni one on one to develop a career goal that meets their individual needs. To schedule an appointment, contact Dionne L. Smith at dlsmith@fcsl.edu or 680-7744.

Educational Programs:

The CSD offers a range of panels, lectures and workshops throughout the year. To view our upcoming Career Programs, please sign on to FCSL’s Online Career Center at www.easelaw.com/fcsl and click on the Interview/Events Button. If you have suggestions as to a program you would like the CSD to present, please e-mail your suggestions to dlsmith@fcsl.edu.

On-Campus Interviews:

Each year we facilitate interviews for students during our On-Campus Interview Program both during the spring and fall semesters. We invite employers to visit our campus to interview, or via our state-of-the-art video-conference capabilities. Job Listings:

Currently, we maintain a database of job postings for both students and alumni. These positions include both part-time and full-time positions during the school year and the summer for students, and permanent positions for graduates. Beginning this fall, all of our job postings will be posted on FCSL’s Online Career Center, Easelaw, at www.easelaw.com/fcsl. Registering with FCSL’s Career Center will allow you to upload your resume, search for jobs, sign up for On-Campus Interviews and events.

Career Planning Guide:

We create and maintain handouts and pamphlets compiling information related to the career planning and job search process, which are available on this website and in the CSD office. Please log on to FCSL’s Online Career Center, Easelaw, at www.easelaw.com/fcsl to access the CSD’s Career Planning Guide. The Planning Guide and other documents are downloadable from the Document Library on this site.
