Career Services Student Assistance:

The Career Services Department (CSD) is available to assist all students with career planning and development. Students are encouraged to attend Career Workshops and Panel Presentations to educate themselves on career options and learn the basics behind successful job search techniques. Students are also encouraged to make individual counseling appointments so that each student will receive individual career planning and advising.

First-year students admitted in the Fall may not schedule individual counseling appointments with the CSD until after November 1 and may not contact employers for job opportunities until December 1. First-year students admitted in the Spring may not schedule individual counseling appointments with the CSD until after April 1. However, first-year students may attend all educational programs offered by the CSD. This schedule was designed to allow new students time to become acclimated to law school and comfortable with their studies. The CSD’s policy comports with the National Association of Law Placement (NALP) standards.
